IT TAKES LITTLE TO BE BIG
It Takes Little to Be Big is a simple yet powerful idea that the “little” moments positive adults spend with young people make a “BIG” difference.
You have the power to change a life. You don’t have to be perfect, just present.
It just takes a little time, a little persistence, and a little moment.
Are you ready to make a BIG impact in a child’s life?
Join us by volunteering, donating, or sharing your story!
Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Brazos Valley is working to clear the path to a child's biggest possible future. Joining parents with our staff, we match each child with a mentor to foster a friendship built on trust, learning, and growth.
Together, we are defenders of potential.
WHAT WE DO
Big Brothers Big Sisters staff collaborates with a network of volunteers (Bigs), parents, donors, and community partners to facilitate meaningful mentoring relationships. Statistics show that children (Littles) in our program are more likely to have high self-esteem, more likely to graduate from high school, more likely to avoid risky behaviors (such as drug and alcohol use), and more likely to have strong, healthy interpersonal relationships.

A LOOK INTO MENTORSHIP

By being a mentor, you have the power to change a life. Mentoring supports, empowers, and prepares!
