Branch Director
Terry Dougherty
Terry is responsible for overseeing staff, working with the local Advisory Board, and raising funds to support an outstanding mentoring program. She has been with the Brazos Valley branch since 2001. Born and raised in New Jersey, she worked as a pastor, teacher, and counselor in Rochester, New York before moving to College Station, Texas in 1996. She has a B.S. in Chemistry from Fairleigh Dickinson University, a M.A. in Counseling/Theology from Houston Graduate School of Theology, and she was ordained in 2003 by the United Methodist Church. With her husband Ed, she has three sons - Russell, John, and Edward. She is the proud grandmother of Townes, June, and Emer.

Terri Hay
Originally from Kerrville, Texas, Terri has been with Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Brazos Valley since October of 2015. She has a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Texas at Austin and a M.S. in Psychology from Utah State University. She has previously worked as a high school counselor and stay-at-home mom to her 3 sons she has with her husband Daryl - Martin, Spencer, and Stuart.

Family/Youth Manager
Clotilde Pichon
Clotilde was born and raised in France. After receiving her PhD in Chemistry in 1985, she moved to College Station to work in research in the field of bioorganic chemistry at Texas A&M, where she met her husband, Patricio Santander. In May 2008 she changed careers and started working for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Brazos Valley in Customer Relations and Enrollment Specialist. In January 2010 she joined the pastoral staff of St. Mary’s Catholic Center in College Station as Campus minister in charge of Prolife, Social Justice, Community Services and Missions, and Hispanic Ministry until May 2019. Clotilde returned to work for Big Brothers Big Sisters as Parent/Youth Manager in August 2019.

Volunteer Manager
Karen Story
Karen has been with Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Brazos Valley for over two years as volunteer manager. In this position she cultivates and sustains relationships with our community volunteers, monitors and supervises the matches, and works with our volunteers to discuss and encourage the building and maintaining of developmental relationships and building the 40 Assets in our “Littles.” Karen has extensive experience with children in both a professional and volunteer basis. She has worked in youth ministry, with Girl Scouts of Central Texas, and volunteers as a chapter advisor for Gamma Phi Beta sorority at Texas A&M. Karen and her husband moved to College Station five years ago from Kentucky, and are the proud parents of Alex (fighting Texas Aggie Class of ’18), Zack, and Kate.

Family/Youth Manager
Amea Thompson
Amea attended Valdosta State University and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a bachelor's degree in Communication with an emphasis in Organizational Communication and a minor in Advertising and Promotion. After a year of working for a non-profit in South Georgia, she wanted to enhance her knowledge of the public sector through practical experience and engagement with nonprofit leaders. It was quite evident that the Bush School of Government and Public Service was a perfect choice. Currently, Amea is pursuing a master's degree in Public Service and Administration with a track in Nonprofit Management. She is also working towards a certificate in Social Justice Leadership. It is her hope to one day start her own nonprofit that helps youth.

Mentoring Services Manager
Maggie Lind
Maggie attended Texas A&M University where she earned a bachelor's degree in Biology with a minor in Neuroscience. After interning with Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Brazos Valley during her undergrad, she decided to come on as a full time employee focusing her efforts on expanding the program into Robertson County. In Hearne and Calvert Elementary Schools, Maggie implements social-emotional learning curriculum through the after school care programs twice weekly.
