Black Boy Joy Retreat 2026
***Community Spotlight: Although this event is not hosted by BBBS, we love connecting our families with opportunities happening throughout the community and wanted to pass this one along!
This retreat is dedicated to building up youth through the Black Joy Foundation’s five foundational pillars: Economic & Financial Literacy, Leadership, Teamwork, Life Skills, and Citizenship Responsibility. The event is open to young men ages 9–18. Participants ages 9–12 are placed on teams that engage in interactive team-building activities designed to inspire confidence, connection, and growth. Young men ages 13–18 may register as Junior Coaches, serving as leaders, mentors, and role models throughout the day.
